Dale graduate Turner Coon won Advanced Men division at the the fifth annual Fittest in OK competition Jan. 29, at The Lighthouse in Oklahoma City.
Coon finished first place in the Advanced Men with 25 points, ahead of his nearest competition with 32. Coon finished first place in the Swimmer's Delight sprint with a time of 30 seconds, well ahead of the 36 second average and second in Swimmer's Delight reps with 20 and an average of 14. He also took third in Fatty Cals with a 6:30 time and and fourth in Gymnastical Beast with a 4:05. His lowest event was Fast and Snatchy with a time of 5:48 for 14th and an average of 5:06.
Coon played football at Oklahoma Baptist University from 2012 through 2014 as a wide receiver.
