SEMINOLE – The Seminole Lady Chieftains moved to 12-9 on the season and remained unbeaten against Tecumseh Saturday night with a 47-40 win at home. In their previous meeting Jan. 31, The Lady Savages forced overtime before being handed a 55-52 loss.

Taylor White had 20 points and was 10-of-11 from the charity stripe Saturday to earn Seminole the hat trick.

The Lady Savages held a narrow 21-20 advantage at the half, but an 18-6 third quarter performance by Seminole gave them the edge. Tecumseh fought back with a 13-9 fourth quarter, but couldn't find the boost they needed for the victory.

Lindsey Lofton had 17 points for Seminole with four triples. KJ Johnson led Tecumseh with nine points, Suni Meely had eight and Franki Hull put up seven.

The Lady Chieftains will host Wewoka Monday for Senior Night in their final home game of the season. Tecumseh (5-17) will begin district play Saturday against 14-4 Newcastle at Newcastle with a 6:30 tipoff.
