TECUMSEH — High-flying Tecumseh lambasted Bethel (11-1) and Mustang (13-2) in Monday run-rule decisions.
Tecumseh required only three innings to dispose of Bethel after tallying nine runs in the first inning.
The Lady Savages,No. 2 in 6A, reeled off 13 hits, eight of which were extra-base efforts.
Carly Scallorn led the way with three hits, including two doubles. She scored twice and drove in a run.
Franki Hull had a triple and a double while Taylor Walker’s two hits included the game’s only home run. Channing Scallorn and Skyler Shepherd joined the two-hit club with each having a double.
Kalie Johnson also had a two-bagger.
Bethel had six hits, including a Maddison Roberson double.
Tecumseh outhit Mustang 11-5 in five innings.
Caitlin Bingham was the offensive ringleader with a HR, single and five runs batted in. Hull homered while Johnson and Shepherd doubled. Ashley Santino and Shepherd drove in two runs each.
Tecumseh (26-3) will participate in Oklahoma City’s Hall of Fame Classic Thursday and Friday.
Bethel, 20th in 5A and possessor of a 9-11 record, will entertain Moore at 4:30 p.m. today.
