Madison Gabeau was one hit shy of a four-inning no-hitter Saturday as Meeker shut down Konawa 13-0 at the McLoud Tournament.
Gabeau gave up a single to the first batter she faced and didn't allow a hit the rest of the game but beaned a batter in the second. She struck out four.
Meeker rallied with six runs in the top of the first to get off to an early start. Madison Hedge singled to drive in Aubrey Pruitt, Darien Edmonds hit a three-run double to later score on a passed ball and Madison Buoy grounded out to drive in Lexi Lopez.
Gabeau contributed at the plate with a two-run double in the second and the girls tacked on five more runs in the fourth.
Pruitt finished the game 3-for-3 and drove in one run and Kristen Park, Hedge and Edmonds had two hits apiece. Buoy, Gabeau and Madison Mason each drove in two runs.
Meeker (15-10) travels to Luther today at 4:30.
