STONEWALL – Elijah Stargell put up a double-double to beat Stonewall 77-66 and lead Earlsboro to their second win of the season on the road Tuesday night.
Stargell led all scorers with 33 points and brought down 15 rebounds.
The Wildcats trailed 16-12 after the first but took over 38-34 by the halfway point. Stonewall closed the gap slightly in the third, but a 19-11 advantage in the fourth gave Earlsboro some cushion.
Garrett Lena had 16 for Earlsboro, Trenton Nadeau contributed 12 and Trey Herron had seven. Stonewall had three scorers in double digits.
The Wildcats (2-0) will be back in action at Varnum Friday.
