Five sophomores from the Seminole State baseball team were recruited to Division I schools Thursday.

Sebastain Toro (Bayamon, Puerto Rico) signed a letter of intent with the University of Louisiana Lafeyette. The 6-1, 210-pound catcher finished last season with a .273 batting average, had two home runs and 33 RBI.

Southpaw pitcher Caleb Lee (Choctaw, Okla.) signed on with Oral Roberts University in Tulsa. Lee started two games last season and ended with two wins and two losses with an ERA of 2.08. He gave up 45 hits and 22 runs, nine earned, in 39 innings pitched. He struck out 44 batters and walked 16.

Breydon Daniel (Bixby, Okla.) and Dalton Reed (Roff, Okla.) both signed with the University of Kentucky. Reed finished first in home runs in NJCAA-Division I with 26 bombs, 12th in RBI with 76 runs batted in and had a .356 batting average. Daniel finished 64th in NJCAA-Division I with 12 home runs last season and 52 runs on 59 hits with 10 doubles and two triples and 41 RBI.

Mississippi State picked up versatile right-hand pitcher and infielder Gunner Halter (Overland Park, Kan.) who can provide a boost at the plate. Halter finished second in NJCAA-DI in hits (78) and total bases (179) and had a .440 batting average for 12th in NJCAA-DI.
