Asher moves to 4-0 with road victory
WAPANUCKA — Sarah Fleming collected 12 points Friday night, propelling Asher to a 42-39 triumph over Wapanucka.
Rayanna Cheatwood added 10 points for the victors. Braxten Frazier and Bailey Larman notched a team-high eight rebounds apiece. Frazier also dished out four assists while Larman blocked two shots.
Asher ran its record to 4-0. Asher’s next action will be Tuesday, Nov. 28 at home versus Stonewall. Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m.

Indians fall to Wapanucka
The Indians of Asher lost a 51-45 contest to Wapanucka on the road Friday to drop to 1-3 on the season.
Wapanucka took a 22-18 lead into the half but took control 39-25 by the end of the third. Asher fought back with a 20-12 run in the fourth but fell shy of a reversal.
Mike McDonald led Asher with 11 points and had three 3-pointers, Trevor Martin scored 10 points and Cameron Grissom had nine. The team was 4-10 from the free-throw line.
Wapanucka was 7-8 from the stripe and their lead scorer put in 19 points.
Asher will host Stonewall November 28, at 8 p..m.
