MIDWEST CITY – The Shawnee swim team had another good day in the pool at Rose State College Friday.

The girls 200 SC Medley relay team of Isabel Webb, Leticia Cervantes, Lauren Grein and Madeline Motley started out with a second place time of 2:22.73 and the 400 relay squad of Motley, Breeanna Lee, Savannah Smith and Jordyn Sateren also took second.

Avery Hadley finished first in the 200 free with a time of 2:46.49 and Lee finished second in 2:47.22. Webb finished third in the 50 free (30.46) followed by Sateren in fourth (31.83) and Cervantes topped the 400 free race with a time of 5:17.89 wihle Hadley finished in 5:43.46 for third.

Webb (1:22.81) took second and Motley (1:31.11) third in the 100 backstroke and Savannah Smith took second in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:35.80 while Sateren took third I 1:43.75.

Trent Ogden won the boys 50 meter freestyle with a time of 27.15 and took second in the 100 back in 1:11.73. Cade Mikish came in fourth in the 50 with a time of 29.32 and Dustin Ortiz finished fourth in backstroke with a time of 1:15.81.

Ortiz took third in the 100 free with a time of 1:06.90 Brodie Morris came in second in the 400 free (5:03.00) and Kiergan Gibson took second in the breast with a time of 1:27.24.

The boys 200 free relay team of Ogden, Mikish, Morris and Darren Pennington took second with a time of 1:55.58 and Mikish, Gibson, Pennington and Ortiz took third in the 400 free relay. The 400 team improved their seed time of 5:13.14 to 4:38.41 in the final.

Shawnee will be off until November 28, when they head to Fort Gibson.
