SHAWNEE – The Shawnee swim team finished second overall to Carl Albert at a home swim meet Thursday night between Carl Albert, Del City and Midwest City. The Wolves girls beat out Carl Albert 380-355 and the Shawnee boys took second to the Titans, 402-332.

Savannah Smith (2:25.78), Avery Hadley (2:30.69) and Kady Drummond (2:40.98) swept second through fourth in the girls 200 freestyle race to give Shawnee an early boost and Leticia Cervantes took first in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:34.86.

Isabel Webb finished the 50 freestyle race ahead of the pack with a 26.81 time as Jordyn Sateren took third at 28.77. Lauren Grein (1:03.32) and Sateren (1:04.86) finished second and third in the 100 free.

Cervantes also took the win in the 500 free race with a time of 5:54.18, well ahead of Carl Albert's Briana Shaw who completed the race in 6:35.56. Hadley finished third in 6:47.24.

Webb (1:13.10) and Grein (1:18.36) finished silver and bronze in the 100 backstroke and Savannah Smith took second in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:23.96.

Cervantes, Grein, Sateren and Webb combined for a 1:51.16 finish in the girls' 200 free relay for first-place. The Lady Wolves' relay teams in the 400 freestyle (4:27.50) and 200 medley (2:06.67) each finished second.

Trent Ogden took first in the boys' 100 back event with a time of 1:03.60 and second in the 50 free (23.79) as Cade Mikish finished third (24.79). Mikish (56.69), Dustin Ortiz (1:01.31) and Austin Wiewel (1:03.35) took second, third and fourth in the 100 free. Brodie Morris took second in the 200 free with a time of 2:06.70.
