PRAGUE — Seminole’s Chieftains turned up the heat in the second half to riddle Holdenville 69-27 Tuesday at the 66 Conference Tournament.
Seminole (10-2) outscored Holdenville 39-7 over the last 16 minutes, including a 25-3 pounding over the final eight minutes.
Adam Nance and Kason Clark shared Seminole scoring honors with 18 points apiece. Clark had four of Seminole’s five 3-point field goals. Jackson Bond had the other trey.
Shemmario Stephens added 17 points as Seminole moved to Friday’s 8 p.m. semifinal clash against Prague.
Seminole was 10 of 17 from the charity stripe as Nance went 4 of 5.
“We turned them over quite a bit,” Seminole coach Josh Edenborough said. “We did a good job of contesting the shots of their two best shooters. Our second half was outstanding.
“We are looking forward to Friday night.”
