PIEDMONT — With three players scoring in double figures, Shawnee’s girls knocked off Piedmont 50-35 Tuesday night to capture their 10th straight win.
Senior Kasey Rice of Shawnee recorded a game-high 18 points with 13 coming in the second half. Rice chalked up six field goals.
Lauren Fields, a Lady Wolves’ junior transfer from Deer Creek, netted 14 points. Teammate Monica Brooks, a senior, finished with 10 points, eight of which came in the first half.
Brooks came up just short of a double-double with nine rebounds.
The only other scorer for Shawnee was Makyra Tramble with eight points — four in each half.
Shawnee, ranked 14th in Class 6A, led 21-17 at the intermission and 34-27 after three quarters.
The Lady Wolves are 17-3 on the season.
Shawnee will play Saturday night at Harrah, then entertain Noble Tuesday night.
