TECUMSEH – Tecumseh hosted Lexington and Dale for a string of games Monday and came up with an 11-9 win over Lexington before losing to Dale 23-13.

The Lady Pirates rallied with five runs in the top of the first and never trailed.

Sara Lock and Delanie Manning led off the game with back-to-back singles and Mikayla Rutland brought them home with a homer to center to go up 3-0. Emmie Idleman singled to drive in Skyler Thompson and Rylie Premo reached on a fielder's choice to plate Lacey Savage.

Channing Scallorn doubled in the bottom of the first to drive in Ayzia Shirey, who led off with a double and Gabi Jordan doubled to bring in Scallorn. Taylor Walker almost score on the play, but was tagged out at home.

Jobey Savage added a three-run blast in the second and the Lady Pirates kept pounding away for the remainder. Tecumseh rallied with five runs in the third and Walker homered in the fourth with a two-run shot to left.

Jobey Savage was 3-5 with a double and a homer and drove in six runs to lead the Lady Pirates. Lacey Savage was 4-5 and Lock and Rutland drove in three runs apiece and each homered.

Jordan was 3-4 and drove in two runs and Scallorn, Walker, Taylor Frizzell and Haylee Cobbs drove in two runs each. Scallorn and Shirey each doubled twice.

Dale beat Lexington 19-6 earlier in the day to move the No. 1 in Class 4A Lady Pirates to 18-1 on the season. They host No. 8 in Class 6A Harrah and No. 17 in Class 5A Blanchard today beginning at 5 p.m.

Tecumseh 11, Lexington 9

Shirey tripled and doubld and drove in five runs to lead the Lady Savages against Lexington.

Tecumseh trailed 6-0 before Walker drove in Lacy Howell with a sacrifice to start a four-run rally. Frizzell singled to drive in two more and Annie Boatman came in on a single by Kilee Jones.

The Lady Savages gave up four more runs in the top of the fourth but tied it up with a two-run double from Shirey, sacrifice from Walker and single by Boatman. Shirey tripled in the fifth to score three more runs for the difference.

Frizzell and Walker each drove in two runs in the contest and Lacy Howell was a perfect 3-3 at the plate.

The No. 8 in Class 6A Lady Savages (8-9) travel to Purcell today for games against Purcell and Newcastle.
