BETHEL—The Bethel Lady Wildcats scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to down Davenport, 10-9, Friday afternoon.
The Davenport Lady Bulldogs took an early 1-0 lead after two innings, but Bethel bounced back to take a 2-1 lead in the third. They held the lead until the top of the seventh inning when Davenport rallied for three runs in top half. Bethel then answered with the final two runs, including the game-winning RBI by Paige Hubler. Hubler went 3-for-4 with three RBI.
Peyton Meiler had a strong performance, scoring two runs on a 3-for-4 day.
With the win, Bethel moves to 3-15 on the season and will host McLoud on Monday.
