BETHANY — McLoud completed a two-game, two-day sweep of Bethany with a 7-6 victory Tuesday.
McLoud took advantage of six Bethany errors by scoring six unearned runs.
The Redskins collected six hits, all singles. Josh Brown and Jaxton Pennington had two hits apiece for McLoud. Damien Dye and Brown scored twice.
McLoud held a 6-2 lead before Bethany put up a three-spot in the bottom of the fifth. McLoud countered with a single run in the sixth, then held off the hosts after they scored once in the seventh.
The Redskins, 12-12, used three hurlers with Wyatt Olds getting the start. Olds, in five innings, allowed five runs (two unearned) on four hits. He fanned nine and walked six.
Reliever Tyler Jones permitted one hit and no runs in the sixth inning before giving way to Dye. Dye allowed one run, two hits and whiffed three in the seventh.
McLoud is 10-4 in games played on Monday and Tuesday.
The Redskins will participate in the Okmulgee Tournament Thursday through Saturday. They will oppose the Glenpool-Howe winner at 4 p.m.
