TECUMSEH — Bristow forced extra innings with a two-run seventh, then netted a single run in the eighth for a 4-3 triumph over Tecumseh Thursday.
Tecumseh finished with four hits, all in the first 5 1/3 innings.
Jayden Shafer had Tecumseh’s sole extra-base hit with a triple.
Tecumseh launched the scoring with three runs in the bottom of the sixth as Tristin Anthony and Kane Ainswroth drove in runs.
Bristow produced just four hits but Tecumseh was guilty of four errors. The winning run, off Byron Thompson, Shawnee’s third hurler, was unearned.
Anthony, the starter, went the first 5 1/3 innings. He surrendered three hits and three runs with one of the runs unearned. He garnered eight strikeouts and four walks.
Tecumseh, 15-16, travels to Cushing today for a 5 p.m. game. The Savages are scheduled to entertain the Oklahoma City Broncos at noon Saturday.
