OKEMAH — Raceton Sedlacek hurled a seven-inning one-hitter Wednesday as Meeker defeated Okemah 6-0 to cap a 2-0 day at the Okemah Tournament.
Meeker knocked off Kellyville 7-3 in its first game of the day.
Sedlacek sparkled with six strikeouts and just one walk. Meeker didn’t commit an error.
Budgie Cameron led Meeker’s seven-hit attack with a double and single. Cameron, Kade Brewster and Green drove in a run apiece.
Meeker was up 7-0 on Kellyville before giving up three runs in the bottom of the sixth.
Jacob Martin started on the mound but was taken out for Johnny Jones with one out in the bottom of the second inning.
Jones, in his 5 2/3-inning stint, permitted three runs, five hits, whiffed five and walked two.
Cameron posted another double. Martin went 2-for-4, scored three times and had two runs batted in. Jones and Sedlacek chipped in with two singles apiece.
Meeker, 17-8, will conclude its Okemah action at 1 p.m. today against Mt. St. Mary.
