Members of the Shawnee track team traveled to Norman Friday for the John Jacobs Invitational at the University of Oklahoma. The boys finished fourth-place out of 25 teams and the girls took 10th of 27.

Darrius Blackshire took first in the 300 meter hurdle with a time of 39.46 and Kylan Hernandez took second with a time of 40.02. Hernandez also took the top spot in the 110 hurdle after posting a 14.74 time.

Brice Koons took first in the 1600 meter race with a time of 4:31.41 and Blackshire, Koons, Kyle Henry and Clifford Littleton topped the 4x800 relay race with a time of 8:11.61. The 4x400 relay team finished sixth with a time of 3:29.39.

Madison Converse took third in both the 300 hurdle (47.03) and 100 hurdle (15.29) and Shyra Crowley came in fourth in the 100 hurdle with a time of 15.66.

Crowley went 4-81 in the long jump for fourth-place and Jasmine Martinez took sixth in the 800 meter race with a time of 2:27.43.
