SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist men's swimmer Jonathan Stewart earned Google Cloud Academic All-District honors, an award presented by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Stewart, a junior management major from Enid, carries a 4.00 grade point average. He also was on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll and earned the Academic All-District honor as a sophomore as well.

Stewart's selection came in the at-large category, meaning swimmers were grouped with lacrosse, tennis, hockey, fencing, men's volleyball, rifle, golf, skiing, water polo, wrestling and gymnastics. To be considered, athletes must have a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average and must have made a significant contribution to their teams' athletic performance.

Eligible athletes are then voted on by sports information directors in the region.

As an All-District award winner, Stewart is now on the Academic All-America ballot.
