Special Adoption Drive Held in Conjunction with Hallmark Channel’s Pet Adoption Initiative Adoption Ever After
Shawnee, OK (February 12, 2020) – As Hallmark Channel prepares to celebrate the country’s most talented adopted dogs in the third annual “American Rescue Dog Show”, the network is teaming up with Vyve Broadband this week to help local shelter animals find a home of their own at a special adoption drive. Featuring animal meets & greets, free adoptions with goodies from Hallmark Channel, and a free lunch on provided by Lowe’s, the event will take place on Saturday, February 15th from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM in the Lowe’s parking lot, 4817 N. Kickapoo, Shawnee.
A two-night televised event hosted by Rebecca Romijn and Rodney Peete, “American Rescue Dog Show” premieres on Hallmark Channel February 16 and 17 at 7pm CT on Vyve Channel 70 and is an annual programming component of the network’s ongoing pet adoption and advocacy initiative, Adoption Ever After. In the program, rescue dogs in all their glorious shapes, sizes, colors, and breed mixes will go muzzle to muzzle in a variety of personality-driven categories, including: Best in Wiggling, Best in Wrinkles, Best in Underbite, Best in Talking, Best in Special Needs, Best in Snoring, Best in Senior Dogs, Best in Ears, Best in Couch Potato, and Best in Belly Rubs. Celebrity judges Ross Mathews, Jennie Garth, Melissa Peterman, Gabby Douglas, and more will vote on the top dog in each category and the show will culminate with one pup winning the ultimate title of “Best in Rescue”.
