Meeker Bulldogs terrorize visiting Chandler

MEEKER — The Bulldogs of Meeker combined nine hits with six walks and seven Chandler errors for an 18-0 scalding Tuesday.

The game was stopped after 4 ½ innings on the run rule.

Meeker tallied six runs in the first and five-run clips in the second and fourth to whip Cbandler for the second straight day.

Caleb Chapman led the onslaught with two doubles, five runs batted in and two runs.

Budgie Cameron, who also doubled, drove in four runs and scored four times.

Jacob Martin, who went 2-for-3 with a triple, scored three times. Jacob Sellers knocked in three runs and crossed the plate three times.

Sellers, the pitching starter, permitted one hit and fanned four in two innings. Cade Patterson gave up one hit and struck out seven in three innings.

Meeker will travel to Oklahoma Christian Thursday, then be home against Wellston Friday.
