Softball wrapup: Meeker, Prague win games
Meeker softballers rip Wellston, 16-1
MEEKER – Katy Buxton and Madison Gabeau each knocked in four runs as the Meeker Lady Bulldogs ripped the Wellston Lady Tigers, 16-1, in three innings on Thursday.
Buxton homered in a 2-for-4 effort and Gabeau was 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles. Caitlyn Alford, who was 2-for-2, and Halle Calvillo, who finished 2-for-3, each picked up one RBI.
Meeker doubled up Wellston's hit total at 16-8.

Prague outlasts Byng in slow pitch action, 22-20
PRAGUE – Adisyn Auld hit three home runs, Josi Goodman slammed two and Demi Manning had one Thursday as the Prague Lady Red Devils upended the Byng Lady Pirates, 22-20, in slow pitch softball play.
Auld went 5-for-5 with the three blasts, five runs batted in and five runs scored.
Goodman, Tessa Cooper and Karsyn Coleman each finished 4-for-5. Besides the two homers, Goodman drove in three runs and scored three times. Cooper also knocked in three runs and scored twice and Coleman picked up two RBIs and scored a pair of runs.
Manning had a 3-for-5 performance with two RBIs and three runs scored. Abby Kipps and Taylor Hodges added two hits each to the Prague offense.
