COVID-19 response: Lincoln County closes county facilities to public
In response to the current State of Emergency in Oklahoma as declared by Governor Stitt regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Board of Lincoln County commissioners have declared a State of Emergency for Lincoln County and closed all county-owned facilities to the public until further notice.
To ensure the continued operation of the Lincoln County Governmental Offices through this pandemic, the courthouse access is restricted to employees only. Commissioners encourage any county business to be conducted by the U.S. Mail, email or phone during this time. If anyone requires access to conduct business, please contact that specific office and make an appointment. Once an appointment is made, those persons will be screened based on Department of Health Guidelines prior to being granted access.
County employees will still report to work and conduct county business as usual.
Those are summoned or scheduled to appear in court should contact the Court Clerk to ensure your court date has not changed. The Court will provide a list of persons expected for the daily docket at the security checkpoint. Please note, only the defendant and counsel will be allowed in the building. Do not bring additional friends or family members.
