Shawnee police searching for missing man

Douglas Junior Waterman is 65-years-old and was last seen on Feb. 6.

The Shawnee Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Douglas Junior Waterman who was last seen on Feb. 6 driving away from a house in the City of Shawnee.

According to Cpl. Vivian Lozano, no one has seen or spoken to Waterman since Feb. 6 and his car was located but appeared to be abandoned.

Lozano said Waterman is described as a white 65-year-old male and he was last seen with gray scruffy facial hair.

"He is mostly balding but has a gray ponytail. It is common for Douglas to wear a ball cap.

He is 6’1” and weighs approximately 175 pounds," Lozano said.

Lozano said if anyone has any information regarding Waterman's whereabouts they need to contact Detective Beau Bohuslavicky at 405-878-1656.
