Konawa woman dies in Seminole County collision

A Konawa woman died in a Monday evening crash, according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at 6:33 p.m. Monday, April 17, on County Road NS3530, a half mile south of EW1450, one mile east and three miles south of Konawa.

The collision involved a 2007 Chevrolet pickup.

The driver is listed as unknown and under investigation. One occupant, 54-year-old Lisa Mullins of Konawa, was pronounced deceased at the scene with multiple injuries, the report said. Another occupant, 61-year-old Martn Pinson of Konawa, refused treatment of a head injury at the scene.

Neither occupant was ejected, though one was pinned for approximately 30 minutes.

Cause of the collision and condition of the driver are still under investigation, the report said.

Seat belts were equipped but not in use and airbags were equipped but did not deploy. The weather conditions are listed as clear, and the roadway was dirt/gravel.

Trooper Kenneth Duncan #451 of the Traffic Homicide Division of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol investigated the crash, assisted by Trooper Keith Burch #699 and Trooper Brad Stuteville #711.
