Koleta Karen Tucker

Bethel Acres resident Koleta Karen Tucker, 72, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020, in Midwest City, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at Walker Funeral Service Chapel with Larry Townsend officiating. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery.

Koleta was born Feb. 21, 1947, in McLoud, Oklahoma to Roy Baldwin and Koleta Joyce (Keener) Baldwin. She attended school in Bethel. On Oct. 22, 1963, she married Wesley Tucker in Shawnee. She spent much of her life as a housewife and homemaker but also worked as a beautician. She enjoyed camping, fishing, tending to her flowers, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother: Gary Lyn Baldwin.

Survivors include her husband, Wesley W. Tucker of the home; two children: Koleta Yvonne Tucker and Patrick Stanfill of Cookson, Oklahoma; Wesley L. Tucker and Ronda Shelton of Bethel Acres; six grandchildren: James May, George Helmstetler and Kristen Taylor, Morgan Tucker and Cherrish Fletcher, Jesika and Hunter Johnson, Ashley and Logan Azlin, Colton Tucker; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Belinda and Donald Stapp of Bethel Acres; and several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
