Dale's Chastain excels for UTA against Kansas State

MANHATTAN, Kansas – Dale High School product Claire Chastain tossed in 14 points, handed out a pair of assists, grabbed two rebounds and recorded a steal in the University of Texas-Arlington's 57-53 victory at Kansas State on Sunday.

Chastain, a 6-foot sophomore guard at UTA, knocked down 3-of-5 shots from 3-point range and was 5-of-11 from the floor overall while also converting 1-of-2 free shots in nearly 35 minutes of play.

The Mavericks improved to 4-0 with the victory.
